Colmar is a town in Alsace region of France which has been a mixed history of French and German occupation. Since 1945 France has ruled the Alsace region and will from now on given the stability of EU politics, (apart from Brexit…. lol )
This gives you a French town with a German background ranging from architecture to cuisine. Having said all that it deserves it’s reputation as a very picturesque place as the following pictures show……..
