Day 23 - Cloughjordan

Started the day with a bit of hunter gathering, the blackberries are ripening all the time, we've already had a crumble and I though another was due.

Lovely day in Tipperary so we decided to drive down to Lough Derg. We started a a place called Dromineer then moved to Garrykennedy. Lough Derg is a great place to have a boat, it is the third largest lake in Ireland at around 45 square miles (I looked it up this time, I think I did say it was the largest!) and dotted around are little villages which all have little harbours or marinas, so you can sail back and forth and visit all these places and visit the local and have a drink!

John and Carrie also decided to celebrate their thirty eighth wedding anniversary today instead of Monday so we had a really nice champagne breakfast and then in the evening we went to Fairways on the Nenagh Road.
