Friday was preparation day for leaving the Dordogne, cleaning, washing and ironing but we did managed to spend an hour or so in Monpazier another of the beautiful villages of France. It was a nice quiet place, a bit touristy but ok, it is one of the few villages that has a complete medieval wall surrounding it.
In the evening we extended our patronage to the local eatery and must admit the meal, steak, was superb and cooked to perfection.
