Day 56 - Thursday - Edinburgh - Summer Returns?

Day trip to Edinburgh on the tram, they are wonderful things so smooth and quiet. We decided not to do the Royal Mile as we didn't have a lot of time so walk along Princes Street, the park and Rose Street. Not sure if summer has returned but we had some sunny periods in between some dark clouds but the temperature was quite warm until early evening when it was a bit chilly with a wind.

Nice strolling in the city and when we got to Rose Street the temptation to have some haggis was too much so we ducked into the Shoogly Peg for some haggis, neeps and tatties in Drambouie sauce, oh yes.........

Back to Bathgate for dinner with halfie Kevin, Sharon and son Jonathan, great to catch up again last time we saw them was 2013. Marina cooked chicken breasts stuffed with, you guessed it, haggis,  hmmmm twice in one day.

Tram to the City, brilliant
