More packing and preparation for Ireland. Drive to Birmingham Airport to drop the slightly damaged hire car back to Enterprise and explain that I thought of buying a black felt tip pen and trying to fix the sctratches myself. The guy didn't think it would work so we all had a good laugh....... I was serious though!
Went through to departures for the first look at our Air Aarann aircraft.
What the hell is that! We're used to Airbus A380's or at the very least 737's. An hour and a half in that?
Well, in the end it wasn't too bad and we were in row 6, almost business class.........
anyway, looks bigger from ground level.
For the aviation minded, there was a Boeing 787, the new Dreamliner, parked several bays away, it was in the Boeing colours and had 787 on the tail so was probably there at Shannon on a test flight, couldn't get a photo though.....
