A very good 1st leg to Singapore in the Airbus A350, more room than the A380 in economy, even managed a few hours sleep.
Second leg was not good for me, back of the plane, lots of kids and harassed parents plus the large guy next to me who over lapped into my area. So little sleep and 14 hours dragged quite a bit but in the end we landed in London and picking the car up was very easy as usual, we even got a white 3008 which we are going to enjoy. there is a learning curve with all the electronics, even had to drive up the M40 with kph instead of mph, not easy to do the conversion in your head while driving a left hand drive car and trying to keep inside the lane, but we do have lane assistance electronics……..
Great to see Sue and Alan again in their lovely home and fish and chips for dinner.
Good Saturday nights sleep and ready to go, shopping at Tesco then back home to wash the car and catch a pigeon, yes catch a pigeon. A racing bird has lost his way home so we were trying to get his tag number but he was too quick for us and flew on to the roof of the house, to be continued…….
