First long drive of the holiday, some 163 miles from Cov to The Holiday Inn Express Folkstone. We have stayed here twice before and is a jumping off place for the Dover - Calais ferry tomorrow.
"The Back" has behaved well so am quite pleased, still cannot leap in and out of the car but I don't feel like it's about to spasm at any time while driving, not a pleasant feeling.
We went for a drive into Folkstone Harbour, for those of you who want to visit, don't bother, it's very run down as a seaside resort, not a pleasant place. Still onto Calais and a 500km run to Dijon as long as the Peugeot cuts the mustard.......... groan!
