Sunday was a day out in Glasgow, been to the Scottish relies several times but have never been into the city.
Fortunately Glasgow is forward enough to have an Apple Store, which was needed because the iPhone was coming up with "No SIM Card" message. I went in and explained the problem and even though the phone was out of warranty the guy was great and replaced it with a new one. He 'd done all the paper work and then put the sim in the new one, with the same result, "Oh" he said, "looks like it is the sim card, but keep the new phone". Result........ It was the sim card and I had that replace, all is now well.
