Saturday is ferry day to the Isle of Arran we started the journey by stopping at the Linwood Farm eatery for lunch with nephews, nieces and children, Marilyn and Alec. Then it was off to Ardrossan for the ferry to Brodick on the Isle of Arran.
Smooth passage and we arrived in good shape at Brodick. Then is was across the island on the String Road, we have no idea why it's called that but it splits it in two. So over we went and made it to Blackwaterfoot and our lodge at Ar Fasgadh with our red squirrel friends.
