Saturday is the end of our week in Arran and it was the time to say goodbye to our lovely lodge and island. We took one final drive across the String Road to the ferry terminal at Brodick to catch the 12-30pm boat back to Ardrossan. Another visit to Arran Active for further purchases then the cafe for lunch then the crossing.
The crossing was calm and sunny and we arrived in fine form and made the journey to Bathgate in no time. Unpacking again it was time for Malcolm to get back to the mundane until the Chinese takeaway arrived.
