Day 66 - Sunday - Keep on Trucking

Sunday, a day of rest except of for Penny and Marina who both completed the ironing in front of the TV. Malcolm, Peter and the twins Olivia and Emily meanwhile headed off to the Truckfest near Glasgow airport. Heaps of good looking trucks and lots of places to buy models and food. One of the best exhibits was the 1915 Dennis N fire engine, originally built for Glasgow Fire Brigade it eventually ended up at Aberdeen. Great looking thing.

In the main ring was the monster truck Swamp Thing, very big, noisy and powerful and very impressive with four wheels off the ground.

Penny and I headed off to Linlithgow later in the afternoon. a favourite spot, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, had a coffee and took a long way home to Bathgate.
