Welcome back, that's me that is not you guys. I have been quite lax over the last few days, been too busy with the extra features, that's my excuse anyway.
On new years eve we made our pilgrimage to the Ricoh Arena to see Coventry City play Brighton. Not having had a win for many games we were not overly optimistic but surprise, surprise we managed to score two goals to their nil. We went away happy, then it turns out I actually managed to capture both goals on the camera, so I will now bore you all......

After a quiet new year we went for a walk around Allesley Park with some very nice scenery in the crisp morning air
Then in the evening we played Trivial Pursuit with some hellish questions but as usual Penny and I overcame the opposition, but the highlight was a game called "Off Balance" or maybe "On Balance" Alan and I cannot remember which. But it's a great game and involves building a structure by placing wooded sticks on other wooden sticks without breaking the building. So Alan, Matt and I commenced building....

Yesterday, 2nd Jan, was a bank holiday here in the UK so everybody was off work, at least those we were concerned with.
In the morning another walk ensued, this time around the Memorial Park. This is a large park that was opened in 1920 as a fitting memorial to the fallen of Coventry in the First World War. It was purchased by the city for £13,000 and a tower built from marble which contained the actual Roll of Honour. It has been an integral part of the city since then. It had tennis courts, cafes and Par 3 Golf Course and I remember frequented it as a kid and had some great times.

In the afternoon it was on to the Tamworth Ski Centre. The main purpose was for Matt to ski and Lillia and Penny to play in the snow.
He did, they did and a good time was had by all.
