After the fun of the previous night we packed our bags, picked up our tents and left for Shannon Airport.
Before that we had some hail and a last visit from robin.
When we got to Shannon, very easy to get to for John now the motorway goes through ( for would be visitors always try for Shannon rather than Dublin), and we had said our goodbyes we went through to the gate we were surrounded by US Marines who were on their way back from Afganistan. They all looked very young and very glad to be going home for new year.

Despite the strong winds we landed with no problems..
We picked up the hire car and drove to Sue and Alan's. When we got there it turns out that we were booked to go out to dinner with Matt and Jen, and as you can see a good time was had by all.....
