Driving to the last stop in France, Caen, in readiness to catch the ferry tomorrow, as it only a shorter drive than we've been used to we decided to go back to St Malo and it's twin town Dinard. When we drove into Dinard we noticed a heap of Welsh flags around the place, as we walked around we bought some cake from a local patisserie, a young English chap with his small son came in so I asked him if he knew why the flags, turns out the Welsh football team were staying at the local Novotel Hotel having a rest before the semi final match against the French team on Wednesday. We did drive around there but the Gendarmes were out in force and could not get near the place. So we contented ourselves with a walk around the beach, Then it was a quick trip to St Malo again then to Caen
